Assam states administer the State Level Eligibility Test (SLET). A state-specific version of the National Eligibility Test (NET). The SLET exam determines eligibility for lectureships at state or union territory universities and colleges. It evaluates applicants’ topic knowledge and higher education teaching skills.

SLET 2024 Exam Different State Governments and Union Territories of India offer SLET Apply Online 2024, a single admission test to determine Assistant Professor eligibility at respective colleges. Exam subjects include the arts, sciences, Commerce, Management, and Humanities.
Applicants must have completed their 2-year Master’s Degree or equivalent Degree from any institution or university that is UGC-approved. The minimum percentage obtained must be 55% for the general category.
Relaxation
There is a relaxation of 5% for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST)/Persons with Disabilities (PWD) category candidates.
