The CBSE has released CTET test dates for 2024. August 2024 is CTET test day. According to the official announcement, the CTET test will be administered offline (pen and paper). The CTET test assesses primary and secondary school teacher candidates annually. To teach grades 1–8, candidates must pass the CTET in 2024.
To be eligible for the primary level stage, the candidate must have passed the 12th class with 50% marks from the recognized board. Only then he/she will be eligible for the primary level examination. After passing the primary level examination, the candidate becomes eligible to teach from classes I to V. Along with this, a diploma is also required, for more information check the notification issued by the CBSE. For Class VI-VIII (Elementary Stage)- To be eligible for Elementary Stage, the candidate must have passed 12th class with 50% marks from a recognized board and also must have passed graduation with 50% marks, and with this B.Ed. is also required.
